Our Freestanding Kitchen Island is perfect for if you are needing a little more surface space in your kitchen. The solid oak top provides a a durable work surface for preparation while the cupboards on the front offer extra storage space. The back is left open so you can add stool seating for somewhere to perch while prepping or eating. We want this storage piece to fit seamlessly into your home so it can also be made to any dimension painted in any Farrow & Ball colour of your choice.

The materials
Our cabinetry is made from a mixture of woods with beaded back panelling. We spray-paint our furniture for a perfect finish, and you can choose from any Farrow & Ball colour. Can't see the colour you want? If you are wanting a colour from a different paint company then just select any colour from our drop bar selection and then let us know your choice in the comments box through to checkout.
Our Freestanding Kitchen Island has a solid oak top which will always be left unpainted. Oak is a beautiful material with plenty of character, the colour and grain can vary from piece to piece which creates a lovely surprise every time. To keep it looking at it's best, we finish the oak with a protective oil, available in a range of colours to choose from, each colour creates a different feel for your design without compromising the natural look and feel of the wood, take a look at our page to see what colours we have available.

Delivery
Lead time for Freestanding Kitchen Island from the time of order is 6-12 weeks. Our designs are handmade to order, so although we always aim to keep to these lead times, occasionally, due to circumstances beyond our control, it may take a little longer. We will contact you when your item has been completed by the workshop to arrange delivery. If you need an urgent turnaround then contact us as there may be an additional charge to receive your item a lot sooner. Please keep in mind that during the lead up to Christmas we may have an extended lead time.
Our Freestanding Kitchen Island will be delivered in three parts and as part of our service, will be carried to your chosen spot and assembled in place. If you opt for our one-man deliver service then we will require your assistance with carrying.
For mainland England delivery it is £59 for our one-man delivery service and it's £125 if you need and extra pair of hands. We deliver all cabinetry furniture ourselves so that we can ensure that it is in the best hands possible from start to finish.
